Recorded during her Speak Now World Tour in 2011, this live recording features 16 performances by the country-pop starlet Taylor Swift. The album includes all 14 songs from her 2010 studio album Speak Now, as well as covers of Train's"Drops of Jupiter" and Kim Carnes'"Bette Davis Eyes." The DVD/Blu-ray disc that accompanies some editions of World Tour Live: Speak Now offers 18 performances, as well as home movies and rehearsal footage from the show. The tour was a grand production, with dancers, aerialists, numerous costume changes, and a multi-stage setup that resembled a Broadway musical more than a country music concert. This combo package includes a DVD and CD. The DVD provides fans with the complete Taylor Swift Speak Now concert experience, featuring performances of all 17 songs from her Speak Now show, along with additional bonus content. The CD contains over 75 minutes of music, including live versions of favorites from the Speak Now album. The performance is a theatrical presentation, showcasing elaborate costumes, dancers, aerialists, changing sets, and innovative choreography and instrumentations on a multi-level stage. Taylor plays a variety of guitars, including electric, acoustic, and 12-string, as well as banjos, ukulele, and piano. She changes costumes 9 times throughout the evening, and moves around the venue, giving every audience member a great seat. The liner notes for this album were written by Paula Erickson and Grant Garner. The recording took place in Atlanta, GA; Love Shack, Nashville, TN; and Nimbus School Of Recording Arts, Vancouver, BC. The directors of the concert were Taylor Swift, Baz Halpin, and Ryan Polito, with Sharon Everitt serving as the editor. The album features photography by Christie Goodwin and Austin Swift.
