Hervé, a 14-year-old teenager, leads a fairly ordinary life with his mother. However, he constantly struggles with his strong sexual desires, average physical appearance, and mediocre intelligence. His main goal in life is to start dating a girl, but unfortunately, he keeps getting rejected.Despite facing constant rejection, Hervé refuses to give up hope. One day, to his surprise, it seems that Aurore, one of the most attractive girls in his class, actually likes him. Encouraged by his best friend Camel, who is obsessed with handjobs and porn films, Hervé decides to pursue a sexual relationship with Aurore.Hervé brags about his virility when he is with Camel, but when he is alone with Aurore, he becomes unsure and insecure. He realizes that his bravado was just a facade, and he is not as confident as he pretended to be.This film was showcased at the 2009 Cannes International Film Festival in the Director's Fortnight category.
